Core Aeration helps in the fight of thatch build-up, promotes improved root development, and allows better utilization of fertilizers, water and air. We recommend aeration instead of power raking as a method to control thatch build-up. To get things started in the spring we recommend mowing the lawn short to remove as much old plant material as possible followed by aeration. This service can also be done in the fall.

Crabgrass is and will continue to be a major issue in the area, therefore a pre-emergent application is strongly recommended. Dimension is a very effective pre-emergent application for crabgrass. This application will be applied in a timely manner in the spring. Any cleanup and/or aeration will need to be completed before this application can be applied.
